The Pahalgam side, with an extra day for Sonmarg

This 5 nights 6 days package approaches the Holy Cave from the Pahalgam side. You drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam through the saffron fields and along the Lidder river, and on darshan day fly from Pahalgam helipad to Panchtarni and back. After darshan come Srinagar, a day at Gulmarg and a day at Sonmarg.

The 4 nights 5 days package goes from the Baltal side instead, staying in Sonmarg and flying from Neelgrath helipad, one day shorter. Choose this one for the Pahalgam valley and the extra day of sightseeing.

Panchtarni is as far as any helicopter goes. From the helipad to the Holy Cave you continue on foot, or by pony or palki hired there. Before travelling, register for the yatra with the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, which asks for a compulsory health certificate from an authorised doctor; both take time, so arrange them before booking the dates.

Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer by Car to Pahalgam. En-route visit Saffron fields, Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. On arrival check in your hotel & relax. Dinner & overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 02

PAHALGAM - PANCHTARNI - PAHALGAM BY HELICOPTER {AMARNATH JI DARSHAN}

After an early breakfast, transfer to Pahalgam Helipad and fly by helicopter to Panchtarni Helipad for darshan at the Holy Amarnath Cave. After darshan, fly back from Panchtarni to Pahalgam. Dinner & overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 03

PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR TRANSFER & HALF DAY LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer by car to Srinagar, On arrival leave for local sightseeing tour to famous Nishat Garden known as 'Garden of pleasure' built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as 'Garden of love' built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). In the evening enjoy the Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting Places around the Lake. Dinner & Overnight at Srinagar.
Day 04

SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR {51 KMS ~2 HRS ~ ONE WAY}

After breakfast proceed for same day sightseeing of Gulmarg (2440 Meters above Sea level) - it is one of the most beautiful hill station in this world and also called meadows of flower. It has world highest golf course (World Highest) and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports skiing etc. On arrival enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilan. Return back to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 05

SRINAGAR – SONMARG – SRINAGAR {85 KMS ~ 03 HRS.}

After breakfast enjoy full day trip to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) also called Gateway to Laddakh. Sonmarg with altitude of 2690 Meters is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. One can ride on horse to visit to Thajewas Glacier {at your own cost} where snow remains round the year. Return back to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight Srinagar.
Day 06

DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast time is free till departure. Check out from the houseboat / hotel. Transfer you to the airport to connect your flight to your onward journey. End of the Services with happy memories...

Yes. Day 04 is a same-day Gulmarg trip from Srinagar, 51 km and about 2 hours one way. Gulmarg is at 2,440 metres above sea level and is known as the meadow of flowers. The Gondola cable car ride from Gulmarg to Khilan is at your own cost. You return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
What expenses are not covered in the 05N/06D Amarnath helicopter package?
