Helicopter for Chardham Yatra

Char Dham Yatra refers to the four pilgrimage places incorporating the four spiritual seats of the almighty — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — set amid the snow-capped Himalayas of Uttarakhand. These places are renowned for their sacred and cultural surroundings, and it is believed important for Hindus to undertake the Chardham Yatra at least once in a lifetime. For those who find the long road journey tiring, the Helicopter for Chardham Yatra covers the entire circuit in just 2N/3D — saving precious time. Helicopter tickets are available from local tour operators online and may be booked easily with us.

Scheduled Itinerary

02 Nights / 03 Days — subject to weather conditions.

  1. Day 01

    Dehradun → Yamunotri → Gangotri (Overnight at Harsil)

    Your Chardham yatra by helicopter starts early morning at 06:30 AM from Dehradun for Kharsali (approx 30 min). Arrive Kharsali and proceed to Yamunotri (6 km) by pony/dandi — 5 to 6 hrs round trip. Around 1 PM fly Kharsali to Harsil (approx 30 min). Transfer by car/jeep to Gangotri (25 km, approx 1 hr) for darshan, then return to Harsil. Overnight at Harsil retreat.

  2. Day 02

    Harsil → Kedarnath → Badrinath (Overnight at Badrinath)

    After early breakfast leave Harsil for Kedarnath at 07:00 AM, arriving by 08:00 AM. The temple is at walking distance and special darshan slips are provided. At 10 AM fly to Badrinath (approx 30 min). Arrive Badrinath and proceed to the temple for darshan. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

  3. Day 03

    Badrinath → Dehradun

    Early morning by 07:00 AM fly back from Badrinath, landing at Dehradun for final departure.

General Terms & Conditions

We, as a Chardham helicopter services provider, shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any transaction, on account of the cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed with our acquiring bank.

Flight & Baggage

  1. Maximum 04 passengers will be allowed in 01 helicopter.
  2. Total passenger weight not to exceed 320 Kgs.
  3. Maximum baggage allowance 5 Kgs / person.
  4. Only one small pack (max 2 Kgs) allowed in flight.
  5. Excess-volume baggage not allowed on helicopter.
  6. Price subject to change without prior notice — please confirm in advance.

Reservations & Payments

A deposit of 100% of tour cost is required to secure your reservation, prior to commencement of the tour or as agreed at confirmation. Prices exclude laundry, telephone/internet, beverages, travel insurance, flight tickets, visa fees, tips, monument tickets, camera fees and any unspecified expenses. Tour plan can be changed provided requests are made in writing 21 days prior to commencement; no deviations within 21 days of commencement.

Cancellation Fees

  • Before 30+ days — 10% of total tour cost
  • Before 29–22 days — 25% of total tour cost
  • Before 21–16 days — 60% of total tour cost
  • Before 15–0 days — 100% of total tour cost
