Flying in Goa: what to know
Goa has two airports: Dabolim in the south, which is also a naval air station, and Manohar International at Mopa in the north. Flights near them and over the coast need air traffic and defence clearances, so some routes and landing sites are not possible on every date. We check that with the operator before quoting. When do helicopters fly?
In daylight and fair weather only, and the pilot has the final say on the day. The monsoon, roughly June to September, brings heavy rain to the coast that can stop flying.
