Nashik Simhastha Kumbh 2027 by helicopter
The Simhastha Kumbh is held on the Godavari at Ramkund in Nashik and Kushavarta at Trimbakeshwar, about 30 km apart. It opens with the flag hoisting on 31 October 2026, and the Amrit Snans fall on 2 August 2027, 31 August 2027, and 11 September 2027 at Nashik and 12 September 2027 at Trimbakeshwar.
A private charter takes your group to Nashik on your date, from Mumbai, Pune or another city, landing at Nashik's airport at Ozar or a helipad cleared for the flight. Charters near the Mela need the administration's permission, and the bathing days are the most restricted. Short rides over the Godavari run only where an operator has that permission.
