Privacy policy
Last updated 7 September 2026
This policy covers bookhelicopter.com. It describes what the site collects, why, who sees it and how to have it removed. It is written from what the site actually does — if something is not described here, the site does not do it.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry forms are the only place the site asks for personal information. They collect:
- your name, email address and mobile number;
- the pickup location, destination and travel date you give;
- how many adults, children and infants are travelling;
- anything you write in the requirements box — including, if you choose to tell us, medical or mobility needs, which we ask you to share only because it changes what an operator can offer;
- the page you sent the enquiry from, and the IP address it came from.
The IP address is kept for one reason: to stop the same address burying the enquiry inbox. It is not used to profile you and is not shared.
When you simply read the site
One cookie is set, named BHSESS. It carries a token that proves an enquiry form was submitted from
a real page on this site rather than forged elsewhere. It holds no personal information, expires when you
close the browser, and is not readable by scripts.
There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking of any kind on this site.
Who it is shared with
An enquiry is only useful if it reaches someone who can fly it, so when you send one it goes to:
- the aviation operators cleared for that sector, so they can assess feasibility and quote. They receive the travel details and your contact details, because they may need to speak to you directly;
- our own booking desk, at info@bookhelicopter.com.
Nothing is sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing. We share with no one else unless the law requires it.
Third parties your browser contacts
- Google Fonts serves the typeface. Your browser requests it directly from Google, which means Google can see your IP address. Nothing else is sent.
- If you tap a WhatsApp button you are handed to WhatsApp, and their terms apply from there.
- Where we link to IRCTC for official Kedarnath tickets, you leave this site entirely.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept while they are live and for as long afterwards as we may need them — an operator query, a dispute, or a tax or regulatory obligation. When an enquiry has no further purpose we remove it. Ask us to remove yours sooner and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it.
Write to info@bookhelicopter.com with the reference number from your enquiry, and we will answer within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection, stored on access-controlled systems, and reachable only by staff and by the operators invited to quote on a specific enquiry. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise — so please do not send passport scans, card details or bank details through the enquiry form. We will never ask for them there.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Passenger details for children travelling are given to us by the adult making the booking.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
