Badrinath Kedarnath Tour Package by Helicopter
Day 01: Dehradun Arrival
Arrival at Dehradun airport and transfer to a hotel in Dehradun as per your preferences. Please note, arrival details must be provided at the time of booking. In the evening, our team will conduct the tour briefing and provide duffel bags for carrying only necessary items during the pilgrimage. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 02: Visit to Kedarnath Ji
On arrival at Sahastradhara / Jollygrant Helipad, we fly to Sersi Helipad. From Sersi, the journey continues to Kedarnath by helicopter. The temple is approximately 500 metres from the helipad and takes around 15 minutes to reach. A Pandit will accompany the group and lead the VIP darshan in Kedarnath temple. After darshan and Poojan, the group will fly back to Sersi Helipad for lunch. Passengers may visit ancient Triyuginarayan or Kalimath Mandir (optional), followed by an overnight stay at Guptkashi on the banks of the Mandakini River.

Day 03: Visit to Badrinath Ji
The group heads towards the helipad at Sersi. From the helipad we proceed to Badrinath Ji. On arrival at Badrinath Helipad, the group will check in to the hotel. After lunch, we will visit Mana Village, the last border village of India with China, for sightseeing. In the evening, passengers will attend Swarna Aarti at Badrinath temple, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Badrinath.

Day 04: Departure
After breakfast, the Do Dham Yatra package concludes with the return flight to Dehradun. We will return and provide drop at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station. The tour ends here, but the memories of your sacred journey stay with you.

Passengers travelling on the Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter are permitted only 3 kg of baggage per person. Large suitcases are not recommended because helicopter baggage space is limited. Duffle bags are provided during the pre-tour briefing for carrying necessary items.
Are there any extra charges for overweight passengers?
Yes. Excess weight charges are fixed at INR 1,500 per kilogram for passengers weighing above 75 kg. Accurate passenger weight must be provided at the time of booking, and weighing at the time of boarding is mandatory. Passenger shuffling or de-boarding may occur if aircraft weight limits are exceeded.
Can children travel under the Kedarnath and Badrinath tour package?
Yes. Children can travel under the Kedarnath and Badrinath tour package. Children above 2 years of age are considered full-ticket passengers. Infants below 2 years and under 12 kg are carried free of charge, subject to age verification through a valid birth certificate when required.
What happens if helicopter flights are cancelled because of bad weather?
Helicopter operations in the Himalayan region depend on weather, air-traffic permissions, technical conditions and other force-majeure factors. Travellers are advised to keep one additional day in Dehradun as a buffer. If a Dham cannot be visited because of bad weather, refunds or rescheduling are handled according to the stated bad-weather and force-majeure policies of the package.
What are the payment and cancellation terms for the Do Dham Yatra package?
To confirm the Do Dham Yatra package, 50% of the tour cost must be deposited at the time of booking, with the balance payable 30 days before departure. Cancellation charges vary by notice period: a 5% administrative deduction after confirmation, 30% up to 30 days before departure, 50% up to 20 days before, and no refund within 14 days of departure or for a no-show.

Payment terms
Package confirmation & booking: deposit 50% of the tour cost to process the booking; the balance is payable 30 days before departure. Passengers are allowed to board or initiate the tour only after completing the full and final payment.
Cancellation policy
Administrative fee: 5% of total package cost on cancellation after confirmation, irrespective of reason. Notice-based charges, up to 30 days prior: 30%; up to 20 days prior: 50%; within 14 days: no refund; no-show: no refund. A credit note will be issued for cancellation of a confirmed booking, subject to these terms.
Force majeure & bad-weather refunds
If stuck in bad weather on any day of the 3 days, we will still try to finish the darshan the next day. If a Dham cannot be visited due to bad weather, we refund only the flying-timing cost, approximately INR 20,000 per Dham per seat. If flying is not possible from Dehradun, a 5% service charge plus utilised services (hotel stay, transportation) will apply.
Bad weather & force majeure policy
Helicopter flying in hilly terrain is affected by weather, delayed ATC clearances, VVIP movements, IAF valley flying (NOTAM), technical issues, crew illness or delayed passenger reporting. Aviation will not be held liable for cancelled/delayed flights; refunds are as per the refund policy. No compensation is provided for accommodation, transport, meals or other extra expenses. Keep one additional buffer day at Dehradun.
Passenger weight
Provide accurate weight at booking. Aircraft weight capacity is 450 kg; if a discrepancy exceeds capacity, affected passengers may be de-boarded and the heli-tour cancelled for them without refund. Weighing at boarding is mandatory; we reserve the right to shuffle passengers for safe flying.
Overweight charges
Excess weight charges are INR 1,500 per kilogram for passengers above 75 kg (per seat basis). Any weight variance is collected at the hotel before the flight day or at the helipad before boarding.
Baggage allowance
Only 3 kg baggage per passenger is permitted; large suitcases are not recommended due to limited helicopter space. Duffle bags are provided during briefing.
Infant policy
Children above 2 years are considered full ticket. Infants below 2 years / 12 kg are carried free of charge; a birth certificate may be checked for age verification.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling to a next date is subject to availability and payment of 20% of the cost, permitted only if applied 15 days before the journey. With less than 15 days, the booking is treated as cancelled and a fresh booking applies, subject to availability.
Medical & fitness
The company is not liable for any medical emergency on the ground; guests are advised to obtain a doctor's fitness certificate for high-altitude travel. The company may refuse to carry any person considered unfit for travel, with no refund.
Fixed flight timings
The tour operates with fixed daily departure times per destination. Passengers must adhere to the scheduled Estimated Time of Departure (ETD); failure to do so is marked as a NO-SHOW.
Other guidelines (2026)
Aadhaar copies for Indian passengers (passport for foreign nationals). Donations, tips, pithoo, palki/pony and porter charges are borne by passengers. Network at Badrinath is poor (BSNL/Jio mostly). Carry a small oxygen bottle, woollen clothes and personal medication. Insurance is not provided, please arrange your own; baggage and belongings are the client's responsibility at all times.
Carriage by Air Act, 1972
Carriage is subject to our regulations on non-international carriage (passenger and baggage) framed under the Carriage by Air Act, 1972 and the applicable Government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation notification, as amended from time to time.
COVID travel guidelines
Passengers and the aviation company must follow prevailing government COVID protocols. Non-compliance may result in denial of boarding, with no refund.

Any disputes relating to the legality, interpretation, application or performance of the service or its terms are subject to Delhi jurisdiction. Bookings are taken on acceptance of these terms & conditions.
