No. An enquiry becomes a booking when you accept a quotation, payment is made, and the operating aviation company confirms the movement. Until all three have happened, nothing is held for you.

Both. Scheduled pilgrimage departures are sold by the seat with live availability. Charter is the whole aircraft, quoted for your route and dates.

No. Kedarnath shuttle tickets are sold only by IRCTC, on the government website heliyatra.irctc.co.in. Anyone offering them below the official rate, confirming only on WhatsApp, or asking for money into a personal UPI or bank account is not selling you a real ticket.

Mountain sectors are flown to the weather, not to the clock. A flight may be delayed, re-sequenced or cancelled at the operator's discretion. Reporting times often move earlier when cloud sits in the valley, and the operating company's decision is final on the day.

The order of the days can shift; the darshans are what the itinerary protects. Where a sector cannot be flown at all, the operator sets out the options at the time.

Small helicopters are weight-critical. Expect a strict limit — typically one small soft bag per passenger — and be ready to give your actual body weight when booking. It decides the seating and sometimes the aircraft.

Tell us adults, children and infants separately on the enquiry form. The operator decides seating from the total weight and the aircraft, and quotes accordingly.

Usually yes, and it is the reason many families choose to fly rather than trek. Say so on the enquiry — helipad transfers and walking distances at each shrine differ, and it changes what we recommend.

Carry government photo identification for every passenger, including children. Operators check it at the helipad and will not board anyone whose identification does not match the manifest.
