How helicopter tour booking works
- Send your plan. The tour or route, your travel dates, the number of travellers and anything special: elders, children, a pony or palki, extra nights.
- Get a written quote. We check seats and slots with the permit-holding operator cleared for that flight and reply with availability, the itinerary and the full price in writing, inclusive of taxes and the State Government royalty.
- Confirm and pay. You pay only after accepting the written quote, and never into a personal account. The operator flying your sector is named on your confirmation.
Prices for packages and charters are on request, because they depend on the date, the group size, the hotels and the flying. The quote is free and there is no obligation.
Helicopter tours you can book
- Chardham Yatra by helicopter: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath from Dehradun, or the Chardham fixed departure.
- Do Dham Yatra by helicopter (Kedarnath and Badrinath), the same-day Do Dham, and the Phata to Badrinath and Kedarnath package.
- Dehradun to Kedarnath same-day helicopter and the Kedarnath stay package.

What to send with your enquiry
- The tour or route, and your first and second choice of dates.
- The number of adults, children and infants, and each passenger's approximate weight: helicopters carry a fixed load, and excess weight is charged per kilogram on the yatra packages.
- Where you are travelling from, so we can suggest the arrival day in Dehradun or the nearest base.
- Any special needs: a wheelchair, a pony or palki for a trek, hotel preferences or an extra night.
Before you book
Kedarnath shuttle tickets from Guptkashi, Phata and Sersi are sold only by IRCTC on heliyatra.irctc.co.in; we do not sell them. Helicopter flights run in daylight and fair weather only, so keep a spare day in your plan.
