Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra by Helicopter

The Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra by Helicopter covers both Dhams in 02 Nights / 03 Days from the Kedar valley. It starts and ends at Phata or Sersi helipad; you reach the helipad on your own. On Day 02 the helicopter flies you to Badrinath at 07:00 for darshan with assistance and brings you back by about 12:00. Kedarnath is then on the official helicopter service, whose ticket each pilgrim books on IRCTC HeliYatra (heliyatra.irctc.co.in) in their own name; we do not book or sell helicopter tickets. The price is on request, given to you in writing before you pay.

Scheduled Itinerary

02 Nights / 03 Days, subject to weather conditions. The package starts and ends at Phata or Sersi helipad; where the itinerary says Phata, your starting helipad applies.

  1. Day 01

    Arrival at Phata or Sersi

    Arrive at Phata or Sersi helipad, reached on your own (1400 hrs), as per advised schedule and transfer to your hotel. Day free for leisure, you can visit Triyugi Narayan and other best places in the Kedar Valley. Overnight stay in Phata or Sitapur followed by dinner.

  2. Day 02

    Phata or Sersi → Badrinath → Phata or Sersi → Kedarnath

    After an early breakfast, fly to Badrinath (07:00). Arrive Badrinath (08:00) for an escorted tour to the shrine with darshan assistance. Leave Badrinath (11:00) and arrive back at Phata or Sersi helipad (12:00). Then fly to Kedarnath Ji for darshan. Overnight stay in Kedarnath Ji or back to Phata or Sersi as per your preference.

  3. Day 03

    Return to Phata or Sersi

    Return to Phata or Sersi helipad (07:00 AM) in case of overnight stay at Kedarnath Ji on Day 02, and proceed to your further decided destination on your own.

General Terms & Conditions

Flight & Baggage

  1. Maximum 06 passengers will be allowed in 01 helicopter.
  2. Total passenger weight not to exceed 410 Kgs.
  3. Maximum baggage allowance 5 Kgs / person.
  4. Only one small pack (max 2 Kgs) allowed in flight.
  5. Excess-volume baggage not allowed on helicopter.
  6. Price subject to change without prior notice, please confirm in advance.

Reservations & Payments

Deposit 50% of the tour cost to confirm the booking; the balance is due 30 days before departure. You can board only after full and final payment. Prices exclude travel insurance, tips, travel to the starting point and anything not listed in the inclusions.

Cancellation & Refunds

A 5% administrative fee applies to any cancellation. Up to 30 days before departure 30% of the package amount is charged, up to 20 days before 50%, and within 14 days of departure or for a no-show there is no refund; a credit note is issued. If weather stops a Dham visit, the flying cost of about INR 20,000 per Dham per seat is refunded. Rescheduling up to 15 days before travel costs 20% of the package. Excess-volume baggage is not allowed. A maximum of 06 passengers fly in one helicopter, and the total passenger weight must not exceed 410 Kgs. If you plan to stay overnight at Kedarnath Ji, pack within these limits.
