The Kedar Badri yatra by helicopter flies you from Dehradun to Kedarnath and Badrinath in 2 days, with an overnight stay at Badrinath Ji, priority puja darshan, a comfortable stay and a private helicopter flown by a permit-holding operator.
This Do Dham package covers the same two shrines as the same-day Kedarnath Badrinath trip, at a gentler pace. Day one is Kedarnath in the morning and Badrinath by noon, where a puja is arranged for you. Instead of flying straight back that afternoon, you stay the night at Badrinath and leave at first light, reaching Dehradun by about 7:00 the next morning.
The night changes the trip in three ways. There is no race against the afternoon weather that often closes in over the high valleys, so the Badrinath half of the day is not cut short. You can attend the evening aarti and go back to the temple before the early flight. And the day is less tiring for older pilgrims, who get a night's rest at Badrinath, at over 3,100 metres, instead of a second long flight on the same day.
The helicopter is a private Bell 407 or AS 350 B3 for four passengers, and the price is for the group of four. At Kedarnath, you change to the shuttle at the base camp on the ticket booked on IRCTC in each pilgrim's name; its fare is paid to IRCTC, and we help with the booking.
Have darshan of both Kedarnath and Badrinath, two of the most revered shrines of the Himalayas, on a swift helicopter Do Dham Yatra. Departing from Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun, you reach Kedarnath for special darshan, then fly across to Badrinath for an overnight stay, returning to Dehradun the next morning. Report at Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun at 07:00 AM. Depart and arrive Kedarnath by 08:00 AM (at the base camp you change to the Kedarnath shuttle, on the ticket booked on IRCTC in your name); you will be escorted to the shrine with priority darshan slips. At around 11:00 AM leave for Badrinath (approx. 30 min flying); arrive Badrinath by 12:00 noon and attend the specially arranged puja. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Early morning departure from Badrinath (around 06:00 AM, may be earlier); arrive Dehradun by 07:00 AM. Services end. Final flying time is decided upon confirmation.
