This is a private charter: the helicopter, a Bell 407 or AS 350 B3, flies only your group of up to six, and the price, on request with a written quote inclusive of taxes and the State Government royalty, is for the whole aircraft. You leave Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun at about 7:00, land at Badrinath by 9:00 for the puja arranged for you, and are back in Dehradun around 14:00.
A charter suits a family or group that wants to fly together on a date of its own choosing, without waiting for a scheduled group to fill. For one or two pilgrims, a place on the Badrinath fixed-departure package costs far less for the same day at the shrine.

Arrive Badrinath. You will be escorted to Badrinath Ji Temple. Attend the Puja specially arranged for you.
After darshan and puja, depart Badrinath for Dehradun.

Deposit 50% of the tour cost to confirm the booking; the balance is due 30 days before departure. You can board only after full and final payment. Prices exclude travel insurance, tips, travel to the starting point and anything not listed in the inclusions.
Rescheduling to a later date, subject to availability, costs 20% of the package and is possible only if asked 15 or more days before the journey; with less than 15 days it is treated as a cancellation and a fresh booking.
A 5% administrative fee applies to any cancellation. Up to 30 days before departure 30% of the package amount is charged, up to 20 days before 50%, and within 14 days of departure or for a no-show there is no refund; a credit note is issued. If weather stops a Dham visit, the flying cost of about INR 20,000 per Dham per seat is refunded. Rescheduling up to 15 days before travel costs 20% of the package.
