The helicopter shuttle from Phata, Sersi or Guptkashi turns the long trek into a same-day darshan, and this 02 Nights / 03 Days package covers everything around it: your hotel with breakfast and dinner in Guptkashi or Sitapur, help booking the shuttle ticket on IRCTC, and the reporting times. Fly back the same day or take a night halt at Kedarnath; your room is kept either way. The shuttle ticket itself is booked by you on IRCTC and paid to IRCTC.

  1. Day 01

    Arrival at Guptkashi / Sitapur

    Reporting on your own as per your convenience to our hotel as per your pre-booked schedule. This night the accommodation is reserved for you with buffet dinner facilities. Our team goes over the reporting time on your IRCTC shuttle ticket with you for tomorrow.

  2. Day 02

    Kedarnath Ji Darshan (same day / night halt)

    Report at the helipad at the time on your IRCTC shuttle ticket and fly to Kedarnath Ji for darshan, returning the same day or after a night halt. Same-day passengers will be staying in our hotel, and we also keep rooms reserved for night-halt passengers as this package includes 02 nights stay here in Guptkashi or Sitapur.

  3. Day 03

    Departure

    Check out from hotel before 10 AM after breakfast. Proceed with your own arrangements.

Note: All reporting timings from point-to-point flying are confirmed by our team. Given reporting time can change as per availability and operational restraint under any unforeseen reasons. Same Day, depending upon weather conditions, Ex Phata / Ex Sersi / Ex Guptkashi.

General Terms & Conditions

We shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any transaction, on account of the cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed with our acquiring bank.

Shuttle flight rules (Phata / Sersi – Kedarnath), as advised by the operator; check your IRCTC ticket

  1. For same-day return you will be given 1½ hr at Sh Kedarnath Ji; devotees must purchase the Priority Darshan slip @ ₹1100/- per person or as decided by the temple committee (not required for night-halt devotees).
  2. Same-day passengers must reach Phata Heli Pad from 6 AM or as informed by the Phata Helipad Office. Night-halt reporting is 10 AM to 12 noon.
  3. Each passenger may carry baggage not more than 2 Kgs in flight; excess-volume baggage is not allowed.
  4. Reporting time is not the flight time; minimum waiting period is 2–3 hrs and may exceed as per ground / weather situation.
  5. Passenger over-weight charges apply beyond 85 Kgs, decided at Phata Office.
  6. If the shuttle is cancelled for weather or a technical reason, the fare is refunded under IRCTC's rules; our part of the package is refunded as set out in the cancellation terms below.

Reservations & Payments

A deposit of 100% of tour cost is required to secure your reservation, prior to commencement of the tour or as agreed at confirmation. Prices exclude the shuttle ticket, travel insurance, tips and anything not listed in the inclusions. Pay into the company's account and share the payment receipt; the hotel confirmation is emailed once the payment is received (minimum two working days).

Cancellation Fees

  • Before 30+ days, 10% of total tour cost
  • Before 29–22 days, 25% of total tour cost
  • Before 21–16 days, 60% of total tour cost
  • Before 15–0 days, 100% of total tour cost

Shuttle flights are run by the operators and depend on the weather and their loads, so no one can guarantee a flight on a particular date or time. Shuttle fares are set by UCADA and the government authorities and are paid to IRCTC.

On Day 01 you reach the hotel in Guptkashi or Sitapur on your own, have buffet dinner and receive your reporting time for the next day. Day 02 is Kedarnath Ji darshan on the helicopter shuttle, on the ticket you booked on IRCTC, and on Day 03 you check out before 10 AM after breakfast and continue on your own arrangements.
Can I choose same-day return or a night halt at Kedarnath on this package?
Yes, Day 02 can be a same-day return or a night halt. Same-day passengers reach Phata helipad from 6 AM or as informed by the Phata Helipad Office, get 1½ hours at Shri Kedarnath Ji and stay at the package hotel. Night-halt reporting is 10 AM to 12 noon, and their rooms in Guptkashi or Sitapur stay reserved. Reporting time is not flight time, and waiting is at least 2 to 3 hours.
What is the baggage and passenger weight limit for the Kedarnath darshan helicopter flight?
Each passenger may carry baggage of not more than 2 kg in the flight on the Phata / Sersi – Kedarnath – Phata / Sersi helicopter service, and excess-volume baggage is not allowed. Passenger overweight charges apply beyond 85 kg and are decided at the Phata office.
What is the price of the stay package?

No. The Kedarnath shuttle ticket is sold only by IRCTC on heliyatra.irctc.co.in, and you book and pay for it there; we help you with the booking. BookHelicopter.com does not sell Kedarnath shuttle tickets. Any service charges for the package are shown to you in writing before confirmation.
What are the payment and cancellation terms for the Kedarnath Ji darshan yatra package?

Flying on a particular date or time cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on third-party aviation services, their operational restraints and previous loads. Reporting times given by the team can also change as per availability and operational restraints.
