Helicopter charter to Nashik for the Kumbh
A private charter takes your group to Nashik on your date, from Mumbai, Pune or another city, and lands at Nashik's airport at Ozar or a helipad cleared for the flight. Charters near the Mela need the administration's permission, and the bathing days are the most restricted, so plan around them. Every charter is quoted in writing for the route and date; see how a charter price is worked out.
The Amrit Snans fall in the monsoon, and cloud and rain can hold a flight. Keep a spare day either side of a bathing day you plan to attend.
Helicopter joy rides and aerial darshan
Short rides over the Godavari and the Mela are run by operators with the administration's permission, when and where it is given. Send us your dates and group size and we will tell you what is flying and the price as soon as it is announced.
How to reach Nashik and Trimbakeshwar
Nashik is on the main rail line from Mumbai, and its airport is at Ozar. Trimbakeshwar is about 30 km from Nashik by road. Around the Amrit Snans, expect diversions and parking zones on the roads into both, and arrive a day early.
